Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/830 was published on 28 May 2015 to amend the requirements for the compilation of safety data sheets (SDS), in accordance with the CLP regulation and the fifth revision of the GHS rules for SDS. This regulation contains a revised version of Annex II of REACH, including the revised requirements. Operators are allowed to continue to use SDS provided to any recipient before 1 June 2015 until 31 July 2017. For SDS provided after 1 June 2015 the new requirements apply.

All substances in the scope of the Consortium, such as zinc metal, alloys and compounds (zinc oxides, sulphates etc.) manufactured in Europe and/or imported into Europe are now registered. Presently, zinc concentrates when not chemically modified seem to be exempted from the obligation to be registered but are now notified.
All substances, such as cadmium metal, alloys and compounds (cadmium oxide, nitrates, pigments, etc.) manufactured in Europe and/or imported into Europe are or will be registered.
